Overview job description:

Reporting to the Director, this role offers a chance to manage and enhance finance systems, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting and tax regulations while providing valuable financial insights to Senior Leadership. You will also oversee group consolidated reporting, manage cash flow, and drive operational efficiency within the finance function.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Acting as a Business Partner to the Board of Directors and Management Team, offering financial expertise and advice.
• Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts with clear commentary and variance analysis.
• Taking responsibility for Group Consolidated reporting, including intercompany and fixed asset management.
• Overseeing monthly cash flow forecasting and working with the Commercial and Operational Teams to develop cash flow models.
• Ensuring the accuracy of statutory reporting and supporting external audits, both internal and external.
• Managing online banking processes, including daily reconciliations and approval of payments.
• Driving the annual P11D process and ensuring all VAT returns are completed accurately.
• Leading the management of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation and accuracy in reporting.

Applicants to this role require:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in Group Consolidated reporting, P&L, balance sheets, and managing intercompany transactions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work on your initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
