Performs the operation of swaging and stress relieving, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Executing change over and set up of the heater and press.
• Performing machine operation.
• Performing end swaging.
• Carrying out dimensional inspection on swages.
• Carrying out pipe ends lubrication.
• Cutting pipe ends for reworks.
• Controlling stress relieving heater.
• Performing temperature control on pipe ends.
• Assisting machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (cooling fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
• Updating information in the tracking systems.

Applicants to this role require

• Ability to run a saw machine.
• Previous experience of swaging and stress relieving.
